Day-Camp Description:
COTH Day Camps serve youth (K-12) from the local area on days where Teacher In-service or Student Holidays mean that students might otherwise have to be home while parents/guardians still have to go to work.
Camps provide enrichment opportunities to help develop our sense of adventure, comradery, and creativity!
Full day of activities can include:
Archery / slingshot
Tent-Fort Building
High Ropes / Low Ropes
Nature Hikes
Science & Sustainability
Canoeing
Pavilion Games (basketball, 9-square, Volleyball, gagaball)
Arts & Crafts
Storytelling
Mindfulness
Play-based opportunities
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years or older
Positive and engaging attitude for working with youth
Heart for service and helping others
Physical ability and willingness to do various outdoor activities such as games, hiking, swimming, canoeing, etc.
Willingness to work with people from diverse backgrounds
Availability, dependability, and willingness to be flexible
Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
Ability to solve problems and think strategically
Event Hours / Compensation:
7:30am-5:30pm
Full-day commitment required
Base Pay Rate: $80/day
Increased Pay Rate for those with lifeguard & CPR/first-aid certifications: $100/day
